Inner smile

The balancing process begins with the INNER SMILE MEDITATION. Emotions are energy. This life force energy, chi, can manifest in a negative form—such as fear, which alerts us to danger. Or, it may come in a positive form, gentleness, love, etc. These core practices transform the negative emotional energies in the vital organs into the positive qualities. The emotional qualities change the PH balance between the acidic and alkaline states. Positive emotions bring about a more favorable quality of body chemistry, hormone balance, and happiness. Use the Inner Smile combined with the heart’s love-power to sense and cultivate positive chi.

The SIX HEALING SOUNDS  ( read workshops contents) use specific postures and sub-vocal sounds to create chi balance between the vital organs and harmonized energetic ‘inner-air-conditioning’ in the body. Dennis also teaches a simple method, akin to EMDR

EMDR
( read workshops contents)

EMDR left-right eye movement.

(Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprogramming of emotions). This deletes the power of extreme or traumatic emotions that disturb our mind and organs. Similar effects occur naturally in Rapid Eye Movement (REM) phases of sleep. The Universal Tao practice applies the eye movement process to the brain and the organs. Combining these practices transforms negative emotions and stress into healing vitality for health, happiness and inner peace.

CHI KUNG CONDITIONING EXERCISES:
( read workshops contents )

Dennis guides excess energy down from upper body after yang activation. Buenos Aires, Nov 06

A variety of exercises from head to toe. They stimulate the body’s connective tissues, circulatory systems and chi with alternating yin and yang phases of rest and activity. Chi kung means practice with chi, life force energy.
The Yin phase allows refreshing chi to flow to the cells that were stimulated by the exertion in the active phase. The yin phase is especially important for establishing a stable energetic connection with the Earth Chi. These are very good for morning exercise, warming up and preparation for meditation.

MICROCOSMIC ORBIT MEDITATION ( read workshops contents )

Guiding students circulating chi up spine Buenos Aries 2006 workshop

circulates positive chi around the orbital ‘superhighway’ of chi flow. The Microcosmic Orbit circulates chi up the spine to the brain and down the front. This circular pathway connects to all the body’s organs and helps to keep a healthy balance of energy in the body. M.O. chi circulation refines and distributes chi for healthy conditions throughout the body. Finish with chi self-massage.

Cosmic Connection for Inner Smile and Six Healing Sounds The Cosmic Inner Smile connects our positive organs’ energy with the primordial universal chi. The connection cosmically enriches and strengthens the organs’ energy as the primordial chi multiplies the personal chi, like charging a battery.

Cosmic Orbit Advanced Microcosmic Orbit: it utilizes the primordial chi of Earth, nature and the universe; strengthens primordial chi connections; and activates chi in the bone marrow for more profound benefits for the immune system.

Embracing the Tree
IRON SHIRT CHI KUNG postures and breathing methods strengthen the joints, connective tissues, and bone structure. They develop one’s inner center for personal power and strengthen the connection with the grounding power of Earth’s energy. The ‘Iron Shirt’ practices detoxify and develop protective chi shields for the organs and strengthen the flow of healing energy in important chi meridians. These basics are of immediate practical value for anybody in everyday life.

EMBRACING THE TREE This strengthens the joints and connective tissues, skeletal structure, and alignment with forces of heaven and earth. It develops centering, rooting to Earth chi and strengthens chi flow in meridians. Skin and bone breathing are introduced. Effect: become sturdy as steel, yet soft as a baby.

HEALING LOVE:
Sexual energy is a precious health tonic for the body and is the fuel for higher development and experience.

Important: cultivate and harvest your sexual chi for a healthy body, brain and spirit—and to prevent Alzheimer’s disease.

It is a critical element for spiritual development and can be cultivated with or without sex. Mastering one’s sexual energy is a simple process of controlling, conserving and refining both un-aroused and aroused sexual energy and the vital fluids. Wonderful new worlds of loving experience will open.

Wu Chi (Oneness) into Yin/Yang (Duality)

Orgasmic energy buildup can be guided to benefit the brain, senses, glands, organs and ultimately all the cells of the body. This nurturing creative life force in the body is a most valuable resource that we can harness to fortify our well-being, emotional harmony and spirit.

Creative Life Force Mastery Learn to control, conserve, circulate, refine and store sexual chi—increasing personal energy. This results in improved energy for health, life, love, emotional balance, creativity and spiritual development. Men gain control over ejaculation, and women master their menstrual cycle. Training is for solo or dual practice. Men and women balance each other emotionally and sexually. Women open and heat the emotional center, the heart center, in men. And men help to open the sexual center for women by bringing fire energy into it, creating a harmonious and flowing energy exchange.

TAO YIN YOGIC CHI EXERCISES

Tao Yin is Taoist Yoga to condition spine, tendons, ligaments and psoas muscles. The name means energy directing: By doing the stretching activity correctly, the chi in the meridians of the affected area flows fully during the relaxed yin phase that follows. Postures, conscious breathing and Yi (mind-eye-heart power) integrates one’s whole body, energy and mind.

Basic Tai Chi
Dynamic Inner Power & Delicate 0uter Softness

This TAI CHI CHI KUNG form focuses on chi flow and dynamics of inner structure. Comprised of thirteen basic movements in five directions, it is based on the Yang Style short form. The Tai Chi movements maximize the absorption and flow of chi in the body—into the bones, bone marrow, organs, brain and ultimately all of the cells throughout the body—for maximum health and conscious development. The form is kept simple and easy to learn in order to maintain a meditative quality focused on the chi during practice.

This simple form of meditation in movement provides the framework for attaining the highly refined state of balance between dynamic inner power and delicate outer softness. Unifying the skeletal structure and maintaining it with relaxed elasticity of the dense connective tissues provides a stable foundation for movement. Subtle healing chi is moved through the body via tendon power that is integrated within the yin and yang movements of the form. This very beneficial experience comes as a result of the combination of benefits and skills achieved from other basic Universal Tao practices. The synergistic effect of these combined skills bestows a calm, relaxed feeling of centeredness, well-being and a clear sense of vitality, creativity and spontaneity. This heightened state sets the stage for opening to our higher capacities and spiritual refinement.

FUSION I: Cosmic Fusion of the Five Elements

Text Box: PAKUA IMAGE

In the Fusion I Workshop, Dennis introduces the use of pakua images. They are eight–sided shapes with eight kuas that represent the eight elemental forces of the universe. The kuas surround a circular yin/yang symbol in the middle. Pakuas are used to provide a powerful mechanism for processing energy in one’s body and for protection from adverse forces. The intention of the training is to mentally and energetically imprint the sensations of the pakua in one’s body in order to use them. Each of the eight sections of the figure contains a unique trigram combination of three broken and/or unbroken lines. These represent the eight elemental forces of the universe. This ancient symbol provides the basis for the sixty-four hexagrams of the I Ching via all the possible combinations of the eight trigrams. In Taoist lore, the combinations of the sixty-four I Ching hexagrams serve as a ‘world formula’ for understanding all of life.
The conceptual significance of the I Ching in relation to our modern world of science is very tantalizing. It has become recognized that the combinations of the codons in the DNA of the genetic code of our genes—and all of life—has a mathematical correspondence to the patterns of the hexagrams of the I Ching. This interests us in relation to our Taoist inner alchemy practices because our intention is to reprogram our DNA and improve our life by achieving good health, happiness, longevity and evolutionary spiritual refinement. This and other developments in science seem to provide modern support and credibility to help in understanding the experiences and wisdom claimed by Taoists of yore and today.

Text Box: See Chris' experience on Testimonials page.

After the training to establish the pakuas in the body, we use them in guided meditations. As a higher level of more powerful technology for inner alchemy, the pakuas are used in combination with the Inner Smile to further refine the five elements of organs' energy. The energy is collected, fused and stored in our center for further use.
In Fusion I, the organs' negative energy is drawn to collection points and enhanced with loving energy from the heart, then fused and neutalized in the pakuas. 'Pearls' of this enhanced neutralized energy are created and used to further purify and strengthen our organs, senses and energy channels. The organs positive virtue energies are also drawn to the collection points and cosmically fused in the pakuas to create strong positive energy in the pakuas. This in turn is stored in our center for further use and benefits.
Pearls of this enhanced energy are extended outside the physical body and are expanded to create one's energy body. This marks the beginning of the development of one's energy/soul body in preparation for the future development of the spirit body. The pakuas are also used for energy processing and protective shields with the energy body, as well as for protective shields around the physical body. The pakuas may be extended outward for collecting energy from earth, nature and the universe for inner alchemy benefits.
In the final phase of Fuson I training, one begins to extend the energy pearls out, expand them into an energy body with pakuas to gather and process energy, and then shrink and reabsorb them into the physical body.
